Built From Genuine COLORBOND® Steel
Flash Protect – Self-Adhesive Flashing Tape
Alongside our Metroll metal flashing range, we supply IRC's Flash Protect, a self-adhesive flashing tape suited to roof penetrations and other tricky sealing points where a rigid metal flashing isn't practical. Made from a durable butyl rubber reinforced with aluminium, it's flexible enough to mould around awkward junctions while resisting weathering and UV exposure.
Flash Protect is suited to:
- Tile roofs
- Metal roofs
- Polycarbonate roofing
It's available in three sizes, 270mm x 5m, 280mm x 5m and 560mm x 5m, and three colours, Red/Terracotta, Grey and Black, so it can be matched to the surrounding roof. Flash Protect carries a 7-year warranty from the date of purchase, provided it's installed and used in line with IRC's recommendations and proof of purchase is retained.
Custom and Made-to-Measure Flashings
Not every job fits a standard profile. For tricky junctions, unusual rooflines or heritage restorations, we source custom-made flashings through our broker network, and where a specific product isn't available locally, we can arrange sourcing further afield to get the right material to site.
