Warranty-Backed Roof Restoration
IRC's roof paint systems carry warranty terms of up to 20 years on tiled roofs and 15 years across most other roof types, provided the product is applied by an accredited applicator. That warranty backing matters for Northern Rivers jobs facing salt air, heavy rain and summer heat, and it's a big part of why we recommend IRC over unbranded or generic roof coatings. Both metal and tiled roofs can be coated, and even gutters can be painted to match the finished roof colour.

Lighter colours, and the Thermal Heat Reflective range, can reduce heat build-up under the roof, which is worth considering on west-facing homes in Lismore and inland areas like Casino and Kyogle. Which IRC System Suits Your Roof?
The right IRC system depends on what your roof is made of and how worn it is. As a quick guide:
- Faded concrete tiles: Clean, repoint with Point Protect, prime, then finish with Roof Protect or 20-Year Roof Protect.
- Weathered terracotta tiles: Clean, repoint, then use Terracotta Glaze to restore colour, or Roof Protect to change colour.
- Chalky or faded Colorbond or Zincalume: Clean, treat any rust spots, apply the matching metal primer, then top-coat with Roof Protect or Roof Refresh.
- Hot roofs: Use a Thermal Heat Reflective topcoat over the correct primer.
- Leaking flashings or valleys: Seal them with Flash Protect before coating the whole roof.
